This memorial was created in honor of Leo Montgomery III of Dayton, Ohio. Leo was born on December 12, 1994 and passed on December 2, 2016. Leo was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.

On December 12th, 1994, Asiah Hughes and Monty Montgomery gave birth to Leo Ervin Montgomery III in Dayton, Ohio. Leo was more than any mother could want in a son. He was protective, loving and kind. Leo was always the type of child that defended his peers from bullies. Leo had a deep love for football. He played Pee Wee Football for the Flames in Dayton, Ohio for almost 8 years. As a Dunbar Wolverine, Leo’s football I.Q continued to increase up until his Junior year.
Had it not been for a rare kidney disease, Leo would have undoubtedly attended college and ultimately, played in the NFL. Leo graduated from Dunbar in 2013. He also was able to get his Driver’s License.
Leo is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vicki Hughes and Aunt Jackie McCoy.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Mother, Asiah Hughes (Jeff), Father, Leo Montgomery,sisters- Xa’kyrian and Amariele Manley, Kasie Silvey, brothers-Jaiven, Jeff and Jahmal Manley, and Jeremiah Siley, Friends-Alex Dillard and squad, God Mom Kenya Baker and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and others.
