Jane Ellen Johnson was born November 17, 1938 to the proud parents of the late Frank Johnson and Janie Logan in Dayton, OH.

Jane attended Willard and Wogaman Elementary schools and graduated from Dunbar High School in 1956. Prior to high school, she worked at her father’s Delicatessen Grocery store. Waiting and interacting with the customers was exciting to her. Jane continued her employment as a cook and later as a nurse assistant at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Also, she was employed at McCall’s Pattern for several years.

Jane married David Crim on June 31, 1958. To this union they had two daughters and three sons. Her beloved husband passed away on June 19, 1992. David Sr. was the love of her life.
Betty Burell, Eugene Johnson, Alfred Johnson, Stella Jackson, twin brother James Johnson and Frank Johnson, Jr. Daughters and sons, Cecelia Dianne Crim Dublin (Michael) of Raleigh, NC, David Crim, Jr., of Lima, OH, Richard Crim of Dayton, OH, Felisa Jean Crim of Raleigh, NC, and Noah Crim (Brandi) of Trenton, OH; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; devoted niece Betty Woodard and special niece Deborah Jackson, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
