Michael Arthur Mentch passed away on September 20th, 2017. He was a well loved teacher in the Santa Rosa area, having taught at St. Eugene's, Comstock Middle School, and Santa Rosa Junior College over 42 years. He is survived by his wife, Margie; his children, Tessa and Logan, Tiffany and Jaccob, Christoper, Ronan, Aislinn, and Alannah; and his grandchildren, Kendall, Ciara, Kaeden, and Reagan. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Joy Mentch, and their children, James and Matthew, and his Aunt Muff.
Dad loved the ocean. From diving, to kayaking, to beachcombing, to the sound of the waves on the shore, he lived his life in love with the sea. We ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Ocean Conservancy in his honor, so that future generations are able to explore and fall in love with the water the way he did.
