In September 2005, when our family first moved in next door to Frank and Lee, Frank was the first person we met. And within the very first day we knew how lucky we were. Neighbors became friends. Frank immediately started helping and from that day he and my husband Mike had a pact of helping each other when needed. And their interest in motorcycles and cars was a bond they always shared. When my son got his license and he couldn't afford a car, Frank lent him his old, but beautiful Ford to use with only one request.. to take good care of it until he had saved up enough to buy his own used truck. He enjoyed speaking to the kids about their lives and both Frank and Lee became a natural part of our occasional family celebrations. And he always patiently listened to my many strange ideas. I feel so lucky to have met him... He always had a smile for everyone and our entire neighborhood has many, many times been the recipients of his help, care, respect and love. He will be missed on so many levels. Frank, We love you.. M&M and the entire family

For the past 23 years, Frank had another nickname, Poppy. When I was very young, my mom and grandmother asked me if I wanted to call him "Papa" as my mom had to her grandparents. I refused! He would always be Poppy to me, and then two years later, my cousin as well. Poppy always encouraged me to have fun and be myself in school, and stand up for myself when the time came. He taught me about old cars, how to grow fresh veggies in the garden, and make chicken on the grill. Forever my buddy when my friends couldn't come play, and a lover of every dog we brought home. We'll miss you a lot, Poppy. I love you. Love, Leah
