Isabella and I were remembering the last Valentine's day you spent with us. You took her to dinner, it was so very sweet watching her get ready for her 'Daddy Daughter Valentine's Date Night'. Thank you for giving her that memory...she's mentioned it every time we go to that Chick Fil A. And she still has the bear too...little did we know how precious these things would become. Love always.

Isabella is our 8 year old daughter. She told me of a memory today that is one of her favorites...about how when her Daddy was in the Army, and he was standing in formation when a bird pooped right on his forehead! She laughed and laughed when he told her this story, and how, because he was in formation, he couldn't wipe the poop away until his Sergeant told him that he could. He loved to make her laugh...and think...and dream...I'm forever grateful that he left her with so many wonderful memories to cherish.
