A great memory of my father is when we celebrated his 70th birthday at our church, Sacred Heart. It had been increasingly difficult for him to make it to mass. My mother is a eucharistic minister and had been bringing communion to him at home. All he wanted was to go to church and celebrate with many of his friends. So many people showed up and he was so happy. Afterward, we went to our cousin's house to celebrate the 1st birthday of her child. My dad enjoyed himself so much that day.
