I'm writing this on Harold's birthday, to celebrate his birth and life.
There are so many good memories I have of him.
I have been so blessed to have grown up next door to him and his family.
Actually, smack in the middle of the Pratts and Suks, who now have become one big family.
How lucky I was to have spent most of my childhood among you all.
As long as I have known Harold, he has always been so kind, patient and there to provide a helping hand.
I remember one day I was out in the front yard, waxing my first car in the hot sun.
I really didn't know much about waxing a car and had put the wax paste on the entire car before I started buffing it.
Here comes Harold to the rescue...
He saw me out there and immediately started helping me finish buffing the car.
That's exactly how Harold was...ready and willing to help.
I remember how patient he was at teaching me how to water ski during our families summer camping trips.
I remember the fun times riding up to the Tahoe cabin in the big green van with him and us kids at wintertime and playing board games up there like Aggravation or Trouble. He never was one to be aggravated or troubled but instead brought laughter and his wholehearted smile for us all to enjoy.
Recently, I have been blessed to spend Christmas times with him and his ever-growing family. How I cherish those times.
Harold will always hold a special spot in my heart, as well as his dear family.
With much love to you all,
Debbie
