This memorial was created in honor of Sidney Jenkins of Goodyear, Arizona. Sidney was born on October 13, 1923 in Paulton, IL to Sidney and Helen (Marvin) Jenkins and passed on December 23, 2014.
Sidney served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Corporal during WWII, until his honorable discharge December 15, 1944. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with 4 Bronze Battle Stars and 3 Overseas Service Bars.
Sidney was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite, father Sidney; mother Helen, and son, Robert Jenkins.
Sidney is survived by his children, Helen, Kenneth (Pilar), Linda (John), Paul (Jean), Richard, Patricia, Sidney (Phyllis), Phillip (Cindy) and Marguerite (Paul); his daughter-in-law Joanne, 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
