Hi, I am sorry for your loss. We need comfort when we experience these kinds of trials. We all need great comfort, from ones that love us especially when it comes from our God. In 2Corinthians 1;3,4 says -“ The God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.” Jesus taught that someday,” all those in the memorial tombs,” will be resurrected.(John 5:28) God promises that , death, will be no more,” in Revelation 21:4. Please go to Jw.org for more comfort.

Dear Tom,The promise that death will be no more is as sure as the sun rising each morning. The promise is found in Jehovah God's Word, the Bible at Revelation 21:4, which says: “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away.” It is also given in the book of Isaiah: “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces.”—Isa. 25:8. Without a doubt God will bring to life our dead loved ones. Please look forward to that wonderful time in the near future.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort through the loving and happy memories of your dear loved one, Keith. May you also look to our loving Heavenly Father, the God of all comfort, to provide what you need at this very sad time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4, Psalms 83:18). He promises us that very soon, "He will wipe every tear from our eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Revelation 21:3,4, Isaiah 33:24. He also promises us that there will be a resurrection of the righteous ones so they will have the opportunity to live forever in perfect health in Paradise right here on earth. (John 5:28,29, Psalms 37:10,11). What wonderful promises! Can you imagine a time on earth when there will be no more sickness, pain or death? May all of God's promises give you a measure of comfort, peace, hope and strength. I have personally found very comforting thoughts on jw.org.
