To family and friends: God’s word is there to help us to make good decisions also to receive true comfort from the many trials we go through our daily lives, this shows that God our Creator cares about us (Rom 15:4;1 Peter 5:7; 2 Timothy 3:16,17). We could learn from bible characters how they dealt with various situations and remained acceptable to God. We look at Jesus, John 11:11 where he tells his disciples, ‘his friend Lazarus has fallen asleep that he was travelling to awaken him. We all, have that hope, to be awaken from sleep in the future just like Lazarus. God, our Creator, our provider knows our strengths and weaknesses and wants us to be close to him (James 4:8; Matthew10:29-31; Romans 12:12)
