Nguyen “Ty” Hoai Pham, age 29, of Wichita, KS, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning on October 24, 2015. He was born on August 5, 1986 to Suzanne Duong, father unknown in Wichita, KS.

Nguyen is survived by his mother and step-father, Suzanne Duong and Phuc Tran; two sisters, Phuong Ashley and Janice Tran; one brother, Julius Tran; two nephews, Conner and Caiden Ashley; one niece, Chloe Ashley; cousins, Nam and Viet Nguyen – all of Wichita, KS; along with a host of numerous aunts and uncles and long-time friends.

Nguyen joined the US Army in 2004 at the age of 17. He served as an infantryman and deployed to Kuwait and Baghdad. In 2012, he graduated with honors at Wichita State University with his Bachelors of Chemistry. Soon after graduation, he landed a job as an Industrial Hygienist for the Kansas Department of Labor. In his spare time, he dedicated many hours to online gaming ranging from Xbox to computer games. When he was not in front of his games, he would experiment with cooking meals, planned large group activities like paintball or Archery Tag with his friends and family, or hanging out with his beloved dog, Coco. He was known for his laughter and funny antics because he wanted others to be happy and to forget their troubles while he graced them with his presence. His motto in life was to “live big”, “eat as much good food as you can”, and “just have fun”. He had a big heart and it showed to the many people he left behind. Nguyen was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family.

The memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at MorningStar Community Church, 11010 E. Kellogg Drive Wichita, KS 67207 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

If a man dies, can he live again? That question is something we have all asked ourselves, but God's word the Bible gives us comfort at Revelations 21:4 which says: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Jehovah God will release us from death through the resurrection hope. Do look forward to it in the future. For more information please visit jw.org
