I am very sorry for your loss. when your loss is so fresh, it may be difficult for you to imagine that this pain will ever go away. But in time the blessing of God's unfailing love will soften the hurt you're feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort and hope that it needs to heal. How? Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon everything that causes us pain, including death, will be gone forever. We also have the hope of our loved ones being resurrected here on a paradise earth, as Acts 24:15, Luke 23:43 tells us. I do hope you find comfort.
Though I did not know your Nicholas, I am touched by your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Imagine a time in the future when those in the grave will be brought back to life here on earth! The Bible repeatedly speaks of such a time. Describing what conditions on earth will then be like, the Bible states that God “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”- Revelation 21:3,4. Many who believe in Jehovah the God of the Bible are significantly empowered to cope with grief by embracing the hope of seeing their dead loved ones again.

My deepest condolences. I truly look forward to the time when God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more death, mourning, outcry, and pain, just as it says at Revelations 21:3,4.
It is comforting to know that soon we won't have to worry about losing our loved ones.
But what about the ones we have already lost? Like, dear Nicholas?
Well, the Bible confirms that there is going to be a resurrection- Hosea 13:14. At John 5:28, 29. Jesus says “the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”
Yes, God will surely remember Nicholas and he will resurrect Nicholas to a paradise earth, where there will no longer be any sickness, death, pain or sorrow.
Isaiah 26:19 - (The dead will live again)
Isaiah 33:24 - (No more sickness)
Isaiah 35:5,6 - (More Hope to look forward to)

My deepest condolences goes out to the family of dear Nicholas. Just by reading his life story I can see how Nick truly enjoyed life, he also seemed like a very loving person. I find it very comforting to remember what Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ promises us at Acts 24:15, where it says that “there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous”. We all long for this day, I pray that this scripture finds you great comfort.
