James (aka Jim, Briar, Jimbo, and Papa), 63, died tragically in a motorcycle accident on Monday, October 3, 2016. Jim was born January 14, 1953 in Buckley, West Virginia. He lived throughout his life in the Ohio area. He served his country in the Vietnam War and continued to serve a greater good through works of charity in his community and for the friends and family he loved. He lived his life to the fullest following his passions for horticulture, HVAC engineering, and motorcycling. In recent years, he took a new favorite role as ‘Papa Jim’ to his three step-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Carol (Penny) Collison; his brother David Collison; his sister Terry Collison; and his sister Donna Collison. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Betty Ann and James Rolland Collison.

In keeping with Jim’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. Private memorials will be held with family and friends at later dates.
